Horizon Retreat Frequently Asked Questions

Have Question? Contact horizon@growthoperationsfirm.com

How do I book my hotel room?

Lodging is seamlessly integrated directly into the ticketing checkout process.

When you purchase your Horizon 2026 pass, you will be prompted to select and add your preferred room tier from our curated block of historic accommodations at the Asilomar Conference Grounds.  Bundling your room with your registration automatically applies our exclusive specialty event pricing. Because Asilomar is an intentional eco-preserve with limited overall capacity, we highly recommend securing your accommodations at the time of purchase to guarantee you stay on-property with fellow attendees.

Do I need to purchase a hotel room?

No, lodging is not mandatory to attend, but it is highly recommended for the full experience. Horizon begins the evening prior—October 27—with an executive welcome reception and networking dinner. Staying on property eliminates daily commutes and removes you from corporate noise, allowing you to seamlessly transition from structured peer dialogue to focused strategic planning.

Why should I book my hotel room alongside my purchase?

We have secured specialty pricing and blocked a select number of premium rooms exclusively for event guests. Because Horizon is intentionally capped at 120 attendees to preserve a high-value, intimate environment, on-property rooms will sell out quickly.

Do my tickets include parking and the park entrance fee?

Yes. Both parking and state park entry fees are fully covered under your registration fee.

Is Asilomar a State Park or conference grounds?

It is both. Officially known as Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds, it is a protected eco-preserve situated on the tip of the Monterey Peninsula. It functions as a unique, distraction-free environment that balances pristine nature with functional workspaces—the ultimate backdrop for executive-level strategy and next-stage planning.

What is historic about Asilomar?

Established in 1913 as a leadership camp, Asilomar is a designated National Historic Landmark, famously known as the "Refuge by the Sea". The property features iconic Arts & Crafts style architecture designed by Julia Morgan, California’s first licensed female architect. The grounds were engineered from the beginning to cultivate community and quiet reflection, offering a rare blend of heritage and coastal beauty designed to inspire focused thinking

Where are the meals served?

All primary dining experiences are hosted in the historic Crocker Dining Hall, which features high-beamed ceilings, stone pillars, and expansive views of the forest and sand dunes.

The kitchen focuses on fresh, seasonal, California-inspired menus featuring ingredients sourced directly from regional organic farmers and local fishermen.  The culinary team easily accommodates diverse dietary requirements—including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free preferences—ensuring premium dining options for all attendees throughout the retreat.

Who is Horizon designed for?

Horizon is curated exclusively for change agents and go-to-market leaders accountable for revenue performance and enterprise-level transformation. The room is comprised of peer executives—including CROs, CMOs, VPs of Sales, VPs of Marketing, and RevOps leaders.

Are tickets refundable?

No, tickets are non-refundable. Horizon is a premium, highly curated experience strictly capped  to preserve the caliber of peer-level dialogue and strategic intimacy. Because of this limited capacity, along with our advanced operational commitments to the historic Asilomar Conference Grounds—including custom seasonal culinary menus and dedicated executive lodging blocks—we are unable to process refunds.

Can I transfer my pass?

Yes. While tickets are non-refundable, we understand that executive schedules can shift. You may transfer your seat to another qualifying go-to-market leader within your organization up until October 20th.
